Many thanks for your contribution. Without a photo from the original contributor it is quite hard for people, so I just added some images from Hastings Pottery as a visual reference.
The pottery began in 1956 and closed in 1995. The person behind it was Dennis Lucas.
His original partner was Bernard Cotes (previously associated with Orchard Pottery, Addiscombe Surrey, England), but he opted out of Hasting Pottery after only 3 years or so, to start another pottery nearby in Battle.

Hastings Pottery by: B and D
The two fishes stamp was used in the Hastings Pottery in the mid 1960'sand we have a number of small dishes we bought at their workshop. We believe they only survived in business for a few years but the pieces are very attractive in colour and design.

we visited Dennis Lucas in Hastings where he lived. He made a complete set of his black\grey designs for my late husband and I when we married in 1968. 95% is still in excellent condition.

I have a tery cat with the two fish stamped on the bottom. The cat has a fish bone necklace and 3 small holes in each cheek. Can anyone confirm if this is in fact a piece by Hastings pottery.
